Freeman Systems traces its roots back to over 25 years ago, when the foundations were laid under the original banner of A.T.B. Systems — a family-run enterprise driven by engineering excellence, reliability, and craftsmanship.

The story begins with brothers Mark Freeman and Colin Freeman, who together launched A.T.B. Systems in the late 1990s. Over time, A.T.B. built a reputation off expert manufacturers of Commercial Doors, windows, curtain wall systems and Automatic door barriers specializing within the Modular Market.

Emergence of Freeman Systems

As the business matured, a strategic decision was made to spin off a specialized arm focusing on two core, high-potential product lines: door barriers and aluminium door systems. That spin-off was Freeman Systems, created as a dedicated specialist extension of A.T.B. Systems. The idea was to channel focus, brand identity, and technical development into those two product verticals that had proven their market potential.
